Labour & Employment Law Junior Paralegal

Portugal (Hybrid)

In our Global Labor & Employment Law team, as a Paralegal in Portugal, you’ll partner with experienced lawyers from Europe, India, and the United States, experiencing a globally diverse workplace where fast-paced and interesting projects foster your professional growth and development. Position: Entry level
Start date (tentative): June 2025
Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate finishing their degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited school

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

• Collaborate with legal teams on high-impact projects, ensuring streamlined communication and efficient handling of legal matters.
• Administer legal matter workflows, including tracking deadlines, coordinating with external counsel, and maintaining case files.
• Utilize strong Office 365 skills to create engaging presentations and reports for internal stakeholders on project and legal matters.
• Assist with legal matter creation, reporting, and financial research related to legal budgets and expenditures.
• Manage team operations to enhance efficiency, such as scheduling meetings, organizing team events, and maintaining cloud systems.
• Provide comprehensive support in managing litigation records and maintaining legal documents related to employment law cases.

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

You have :

• Experience working in a legal office or with legal professionals
• Strong Office 365 and communication skills
• University degree and working knowledge of labor & employment laws and regulations
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, in English

It would be nice if you also had:

• A law degree or legal experience
