What you’ll do as a Laborer

  • Participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, driving, delivery, digging, and handling various materials and equipment
  • Hand dig using shovel and mechanical tools
  • Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling
  • Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc.)
  • Operate or work around heavy machinery
  • Work in congested or remote areas
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with team members and equipment for safe coordination
  • Perform general construction work under supervision
  • Flagging, property, or worksite restoration
  • Maintain safety standards and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card
  • Basic knowledge of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools
  • Effective communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Physical abilities & exposures

  • Ability to work at least 8 hours daily, with potential overtime, weekends, or after-hours work
  • Ability to stand, crouch, sit, bend, reach, climb, balance, crawl, lift, and handle tools and equipment
  • Work while wearing safety gear
  • Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, rain, snow, and fog
  • Potential exposure to dust, fumes, or airborne pathogens
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed

Pay Range: $23 - $25 per hour
