Job summary

Lambert's Cable in North Wilkesboro, NC is seeking an entry-level Laborer Telecom Aerial to support an aerial crew with installing and maintaining fiber/telecom cables and materials. Responsibilities include supplying tools and materials, moving equipment, ensuring safety tagging, and performing digging and traffic control per DOT guidelines.

Requires 18+, US work authorization, HS diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver's license; pole climbing certification or willingness to obtain it is

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid state driver's license (not Provisional) and clean driving record.
• Certified pole climber or willing to become certified.
• Previous labor experience in telecommunications is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide tools, parts, and materials to crew members as needed.
• Reposition or move bucket trucks, trailers, or equipment as directed.
• Ensure door-tagging and resident notifications for construction activities are completed before starting work each day.
• Stock, clean, and maintain all company vehicles and equipment.
• Perform hand digging using shovels and mechanical tools.
• Direct/flag traffic flow in line with local DOT guidelines.
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
• Perform work in all weather conditions.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do

What you'll need
