Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Laborer - Non Driver to assist skilled craft workers on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will support digging, loading materials, site setup, and cleanup while following established procedures.

This role emphasizes teamwork, physical stamina, and a commitment to safety in varying weather conditions at our Creedmoor, Texas project sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• Construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor tasks: digging, trenching, shoveling, raking.
• Load/unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Set up and break down sites; place cones, barriers, signage.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision.
• Keep work area clean and safe; dispose of waste.
• Spot for heavy equipment operators for safe movement.
• Assist with temporary structures and scaffolding.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Job Overview:

The Laborer - Non Driver will assist skilled craft workers with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general labor duties such as digging, trenching, shoveling, and raking.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles and staging areas.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including placing cones, barriers, and signage.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision, such as drills, grinders, and compactors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping debris and disposing of waste.
• Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement and placement.
• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures and scaffolding.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or forepersons.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all company safety policies.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
