Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a field construction professional in Houston, TX to perform general construction work under supervision, operate heavy equipment, install underground telecommunications cabling, and ensure safety per FMCSA regulations. Position involves outdoor work, traveling to out-of-town sites, and coordinating with customers and crew.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 75+ pounds, endure long hours, and travel as needed, with competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

  • Climb into and out of equipment (cars, trucks, backhoes, trenchers, etc)
  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery
  • Knows and obeys all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration Rules and Regulations
  • Repetitive motion with hand, wrist, feet, head, and shoulder
  • The ability to work outdoors in a diverse environment
  • Work in congested and remote areas
  • Work while standing or sitting for several hours at a time
  • Must be able to work in small/sometimes confined areas
  • Must be able to work in variable heights/depths
  • Must be able to lift/carry up to 75+ pounds
  • Reach, bend, stoop while performing work
  • Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement
  • Willing to travel. This position requires occasional travel for out-of-town assignments.
