Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer for our Operations team on a project in Conesville, OH. This full-time role involves hands-on site work, assisting safety personnel, and supporting carpenters and field supervision to keep the project on schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of construction experience, a solid understanding of safety practices, and the ability to lift heavy materials while staying alert and mobile on uneven surfaces and heights.

Qualifications

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods; able to lift and maneuver objects; able to climb ladders and scaffolds.

Required:

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
