Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on a Franklin Furnace, OH project. This full‑time role offers hands-on site work and opportunities to grow within a nationwide builder.

Responsibilities include cleaning the worksite, assisting safety and carpentry teams, handling materials, and supporting field supervision. The position requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety in an outdoor construction environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience required.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Ability to provide primary support to field supervision.
• Ability to think critically to solve issues on site.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and carry materials 50–100 lbs.

About The Role

We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This is a full‑time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.

Qualifications

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

Preferred

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
