Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join our Operations team on the Franklin Furnace project in Ohio. This full-time position supports the field crew with cleaning, material handling, safety tasks, and carpentry assistance while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of construction experience, can lift 50–100 lbs, and are comfortable working outdoors, overtime, and weekends.

Qualifications

• Possess 1 year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, stand or walk for long periods, and handle/operate objects.
• Read/write, and have good vision/hearing (with correction if needed).
• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

About The Role

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.

• Assisting carpenters with any projects.

• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
