Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join the Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This is a full-time position focused on site prep, material handling, and supporting the safety team.

Candidates should have 1 year of construction experience, be able to lift 50–100 lbs, stand and move for long periods, and read/write. OSHA-compliant workspace, overtime and weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience required.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to field supervision.
• Ability to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be able to lift/carry materials weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods; able to climb ladders/scaffolds.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Franklin Furnace, OH. This is a full-time position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
