Job summary

Environmental Works, Inc. is hiring a General Laborer / Field Technician. The role includes hands-on tasks such as pressure washing, vacuum truck operations support, steam cleaning, and basic industrial maintenance.

The candidate will travel to job sites in a company vehicle and operate hand tools and light machinery. The position is full-time with flexible hours, some weekends/holidays, and up to 50% overnight travel. A valid driver’s license and the ability to follow instructions are required.

GENERAL LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

GENERAL LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS:

• Full-time position
• Ability to work flexible hours with some weekend and holidays
• Overnight travel required up to 50%; travel via company vehicle
• On-call availability occasionally on a rotating schedule

PAY RANGE

• $21 - $24 | Hourly

*Pay is determined based on experience and CDL status*

GENERAL LABORER / FIELD TECHNICIAN | WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EWI's field service team works in a variety of industrial plants and settings. We encounter dust, oils, various commodities such as grain and fertilizer, in varying weather/temperature conditions. Employee must follow all safety standards and wear necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas. This employee is required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk and hear. Must be able to regularly lift and carry 50 pounds.
