Overview

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems at jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project.

Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

• Promote and comply with all company and safety policies and procedures
• Complete all required safety documentation
• Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
• Lift, carry, and hold building materials, tools, and supplies
• Support the assembly of electrical components and equipment
• Assist with routine maintenance and repairs
• Provide assistance on the site as needed
• Prepare and maintain work sites, including handling materials and tools
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored
• May be required to travel to different jobsites on short notice
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) or 1-3 months of related experience in construction and/or training, or an equivalent combination of training and experience preferred
• Prior experience in electrical or construction labor is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety, working towards the company’s Zero Injury principles
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written or oral form
• Work within precise standards of accuracy, following set procedures and standards

Working Environment

• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high, precarious places, and extreme heat
• Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud
