Job summary

Mountain Cement Company is seeking an experienced Laborer to help bring the newest cement plant in the United States to life. You will be involved in daily cleanup and housekeeping, safety compliance, and assisting MCC allies in ongoing operations.

The role emphasizes a strong safety culture, the ability to work with radio communication, and physically demanding tasks such as lifting 80 lbs+ and operating equipment after proper training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Required.
• Strong safety record and awareness.
• Ability to work without constant supervision.
• Knowledge of mobile equipment safety.
• Ability to communicate effectively over radio.
• Must be physically fit and able to lift 80 lbs+.

Responsibilities

• Area/workplace examinations before shift and as required by regulations.
• Ensure safe work area; perform complete inspections.
• Address deficiencies or stop work if unsafe.
• Perform corrective actions per regulations and policies.
• Inspect equipment and report problems; minor repairs by Laborer.
• Check lubrication, coolant and fuel levels; top up fluids.
• Perform housekeeping to remove hazards daily.
• Operate mobile equipment only after training.
• Perform all other work as directed.
