Compensation Range (Washington Only): $20.00 - $21.71

Position Description:

Laborers support skilled crafts by assisting with form carpentry, concrete operations, reinforcing steel installation, and masonry work. This is a safety-sensitive role.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Adherence to safety practices as per Hensel Phelps safety program
• Ability to take initiative and follow instructions
• Own safety footwear
• Effective communication skills
• Strong mathematical and quantitative skills
• Reliability and punctuality

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in construction layout, blueprint reading, and shop drawings
• Ability to perform excavation, form assembly, concrete handling, and masonry support tasks
• Ability to operate tools like power trowels, screeds, and assist in material handling
• Experience in handling and transporting construction materials and equipment

Physical Demands:

• Heavy lifting up to 100 pounds
• Frequent walking, kneeling, standing, reaching, and climbing
• Working at heights and in various environmental conditions
• Prolonged use of power tools and exposure to dust and chemicals
• Ability to wear respirators and pass medical/fit testing
