Job summary

Stella-Jones is seeking a Laborer to assist in manufacturing activities. Duties include applying endplates by hand or machine, operating banding equipment, and loading or unloading materials as needed.

You will participate in the safety program, help maintain organized work areas, and support various production tasks to keep essential operations running efficiently.

Qualifications

• No formal degree required; willingness to perform manufacturing tasks.
• Ability to operate banding equipment and apply endplates manually or by machine.
• Capable of loading/unloading materials and following safety procedures.

Laborer assists with manufacturing activities by performing the following duties:

• Applies endplates by hand or machine
• Operates banding equipment
• Assist in loading and unloading of materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading charges
• Assist in storage by setting stickers and dunnage
• Tag materials with proper product tags.
• Cut dunnage.
• Assist in cleaning work areas, painting and maintaining property, plant and equipment.
• Participates and contributes to company safety program.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
