Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking labor-oriented construction support to grout columns, clean the site, and stage materials for carpenter crews. The role involves ensuring tools are tracked, dewatering is managed, and dust control is maintained on a busy site.

Responsibilities include assisting with light demolition, following safety policies, and assisting with emergency procedures and traffic flow. Candidates must pass drug testing and meet any union training requirements.

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test and subsequent random and post-accident testing.
• Complete union required training programs (if applicable).
• Be in good standing with union (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Grout columns and general cleanup to keep the site organized.
• Stage materials ahead of carpenter crews and manage tools; inspect and tag damaged equipment.
• Dewatering and dust control; assist with cycling of trash containers and setup of temp climate equipment.
• Assist with material and equipment staging for maximum efficiency; engage in light demolition work.
• Enforce Ryan safety policies; be familiar with emergency procedures and assist with directing traffic if needed.
• Abstain from harassment and report concerns to supervisor.

Job Duties

• Grout columns.
• General clean-up of site, building organization.
• Stage materials out ahead of carpenter crews.
• Track small tools used and store appropriately at the end of the workday. Inspect tools for safe working condition. Tag and turn in any damaged equipment.
• Dewatering.
• Dust control.
• Assist with cycling of trash containers. Set up and relocate temporary heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification equipment. Assist with material and equipment staging for maximum efficiency.
• Engage in light demolition work.
• Assist in enforcing and be an example of Ryan safety policies and procedures. Familiarize one's self with the emergency procedures for the project they are on. Assist with directing traffic and clearing the path in the event of an emergency.
• Abstain from, avoid, and report any form of harassment to their supervisor. /Hazard Analysis for their portion of work.
