Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation in the United States is seeking a Maintenance Worker in Kenner, LA to perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures using a variety of hand tools on site.

You will assist maintenance engineers by setting up ladders, scaffolding or work platforms, moving and stocking materials, and transporting supplies. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a busy casino environment while meeting safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess basic mechanical knowledge.
• Must communicate by two-way radio.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and maneuver up to 75 pounds.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs of equipment and fixtures using a variety of hand tools.
• Assist maintenance engineers by setting up ladders, scaffolding or work platforms, moving and stocking work materials, etc.
• Assemble, disassemble, and transport temporary or permanent structures, furniture, and fixtures.
• Pick up and deliver supplies, parts, and equipment.
• Cleaning parking lot
• taking out trash
• Complete work assignments in a timely manner, and report back for next job assignment.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
