Job summary

Boyd Gaming Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician in Las Vegas to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related systems. You will respond to emergencies, complete renovation and remodeling projects, and ensure safe operation by communicating via radio with the team.

The role requires the ability to work in confined spaces, stand/walk for long shifts, and use hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk throughout shift.
• Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and work in confined areas.
• Must be able to safely and effectively use hand and power tools.
• Must be able to carry and communicate by two-way radio.
• Must have excellent communication skills.

Perform repairs and maintenance to air conditioning, furnace, plumbing, electrical, and other related systems. Respond to emergency situations such as fire, power outage, gas or water leak, and the like.

• Possess knowledge in engineering field to accomplish assignments safely and correctly; generally attained through schooling and work experience.
• Carry and communicate by radio.
