Location: Southwest Montana Area (Bozeman, Big Sky, Three Forks, Big Timber, Emigrant) (Reliable transportation and willlingness to travel is required)

Job Type: Full-Time/Seasonal/Temorary/Part-Time

Pay: DOE

Overview:

Munson’s Carpentry & Construction LLC is seeking hardworking, dependable Laborers to support our carpentry crews on a variety of residential and commercial job sites. This is an ideal position for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry with room for growth into more specialized roles. We’re looking for team players who take pride in their work and want to be part of building high-quality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist carpenters and other trades on-site with materials, tools, and general labor
  • Load, unload, and move materials to appropriate locations
  • Set up and clean up work areas, including job site organization and debris removal
  • Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision
  • Follow directions from site leads, carpenters, and project manager
  • Support demolition, layout, and prep work as needed
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from job sites
  • Must be able to lift and carry 50+ lbs
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work on feet for extended periods (8+ hrs daily)
  • Comfortable working at heights, including on ladders and scaffolding
  • Willing and able to work outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions
  • MUST follow ALL safety guidelines, attend safety meetings, and wear PPE at all times. "Safety is our top priority. If you spot a safety issue, speak up immediately. We encourage everyone to voice concerns without hesitation, as your vigilance ensures a secure environment for all."
  • Able to take direction and work as part of a team
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the construction field

Preferred (but not required) Skills:

  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Previous experience on construction sites
  • Ability to read a tape measure and assist with layout or material prep
  • Experience in siding, framing, or remodeling is a plus
  • Willingness to learn basic carpentry tasks over time
