Summary:

The Craft – Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing Civil/Electrical duties at the project site.

Requirements:

  • Assist operators to drive piles to provide support for solar arrays/panels.
  • Review project plans and drawings and ensure that the project is built according to design.
  • Communicate job information to important parties.
  • Operates all equipment in a safe manner and efficient working practices.
  • Maintain tools and equipment and perform safety checks.
  • Cleans equipment as required.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
  • Pile driving (rigging).

Safety:

  • Ensures that safety is the most important function, follows safe practices while working.
  • Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
  • Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHA’s) occurs before scopes of work commence.
  • Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
  • Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
  • Follows technical, quality and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action.
  • Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 1 or more years' experience with pile driving (recent rigging/groundsman experience) required.
  • Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required.
  • Ability to measure and “spot” equipment.
  • Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.

Anticipated base salary range: $22.00 - $26.00

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.

Occasionally exposed to extreme cold and wet environments in the working environment.

Frequently exposed to extreme heat, humidity, noise, hazards and vibration in the working environment.
