Job summary

Gleeson Constructors & Engineers is hiring Construction Laborers for a large-scale food facility expansion for Fareway Stores in Boone, Iowa. This role offers steady work, overtime opportunities, and a chance to learn skilled trades within a safety-focused team.

You will assist with concrete, carpentry, and steel work while supporting industrial freezer and dock area construction, material handling, and site organization.

$18–$27/hour DOE + Overtime Opportunities

Gleeson Constructors & Engineers is hiring Construction Laborers for a large-scale food facility expansion for Fareway Stores in Boone, Iowa.

This is not residential construction. Our crews work on food-processing and cold-storage facilities where safety, teamwork, and quality matter.

WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON

• Assisting crews with concrete, carpentry, and steel work
• Supporting construction of industrial freezer and dock areas
• Material handling and jobsite organization
• Jobsite cleanup and preparation
• Working alongside experienced tradespeople on large-scale food facility construction projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist skilled workers as assigned
• Load, unload, and move construction materials
• Operate hand and power tools safely
• Clean and prepare work areas
• Assist with concrete, formwork, and structural steel activities
• Support equipment operators and field crews as needed
• Follow all jobsite safety requirements
• Help maintain production goals and quality standards
