Gleeson Constructors & Engineers, LLC is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for a major food-processing expansion in Russellville, Arkansas. You’ll be part of the crew constructing a new spiral freezer addition and ready-to-eat processing upgrades at an operating facility.

Work includes foundations, large interior slabs, freezer floors, equipment pads, curbs, and exterior concrete. If you take pride in quality concrete work, we want to hear from you and join our crew.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher is required.
• Knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques, forming, flatwork, and tools/equipment used in concrete construction.
• Must be physically able to perform construction work, including lifting up to 75 lbs, and follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Place, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs, pads, curbs, and exterior concrete.
• Work on 6" and 10" reinforced slabs, including freezer/food-processing areas.
• Finish floors to project specs with smooth-trowel finishes.
• Construct and finish concrete curbs for food-processing areas.
• Set and align forms for foundations and curbs; work from plans.
• Screed, float, trowel, edge, and finish freshly placed concrete.
• Patch voids and perform concrete repair and finishing as needed.
• Saw-cut joints and complete flatwork operations.
• Work from drawings, elevations, and layout; collaborate with crews.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness on an active food-processing project.

BUILD SOMETHING BIG IN RUSSELLVILLE.

Gleeson Constructors & Engineers is hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for a major food-processing expansion in Russellville, Arkansas.

You’ll be part of the crew constructing a new spiral freezer addition and ready-to-eat (RTE) processing upgrades at an operating food manufacturing facility. This project includes everything from foundations and large interior slabs to freezer floors, equipment pads, curbs, and exterior concrete.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Place, level, and finish concrete for foundations, slabs-on-grade, equipment pads, curbs, landings, and exterior concrete
• Work on 6-inch and 10-inch reinforced concrete slabs, including specialized freezer and food-processing areas
• Finish concrete floors to project specifications, including smooth-trowel finishes
• Construct and finish concrete curbs used in food-processing areas
• Set, align, and work with concrete forms for foundations, curbs, and other concrete structures
• Screed, float, trowel, edge, and finish freshly placed concrete
• Patch voids and perform concrete repair and finishing as needed
• Saw-cut joints and complete other flatwork operations
• Work from construction drawings, elevations, and layout
• Work alongside Gleeson’s carpenters, laborers, steel crews, and project supervision
• Maintain the quality, safety, and cleanliness standards required on an active food-processing project

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience as a Concrete Finisher is required.

Candidates should have a working knowledge of concrete placement and finishing techniques, forming, flatwork, construction methods, and the tools and equipment commonly used in concrete construction.

You must be physically able to perform construction work, including lifting up to 75 lbs., and be willing to follow all Gleeson and project-specific safety requirements.

Pre-employment, post-offer drug screen and physical required.
