Job summary

Gentex in Zeeland, MI is seeking a Laboratory Validation Engineer II to ensure product reliability through testing and analysis, providing technical consultation to program and engineering teams on validation.

You will execute regulatory and internal tests, interpret data against pass/fail criteria, compile reports, and help shape test methodologies and lab processes. Travel domestically and internationally may be required; strong communication and training skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of professional experience in laboratory and/or testing setting.
• Travel domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute testing per applicable requirements and developed procedures including regulatory testing.
• Analyze and interpret test data against pass/fail criteria, providing technical consultation to program and engineering teams.
• Compile, evaluate, and report test data timely and accurately.
• Support interpretation of customer requirements, product design weaknesses and proposed test methodology.
• Ideate and establish new test methodologies, procedures, and equipment.
• Train personnel on test methods and lab process.
• Engage in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
• Support lab quality system policies and continual improvement initiatives.
