Job summary

Gentex Corporation is seeking a Design Assurance Engineer to provide quality and test support across new product development. You will design, document, and execute test plans and lead test activities with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams.

You will ensure inspection instructions, first article inspections, and qualification testing, while aligning Gentex testing with third-party procedures. Strong problem solving and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or AS with 3–5 years in quality/test/systems engineering.
• CQE certification would be a benefit.
• Experience with military/spec ISO/AS quality standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and implement test plans for developmental programs.
• Lead test activities, serve as test manager/test engineer, and develop test reports.
• Coordinate inspection/test requests for developmental items and ensure first article inspections.
