Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing in Austin, TX is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform tests per standards, ensure equipment is calibrated, and prepare reports under the direction of Lab Manager. This role requires a four-year engineering degree or equivalent technical degree and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

You will coordinate with Lab Managers and Project Coordinators, support multiple projects, and contribute to ongoing quality and safety initiatives while maintaining

Qualifications

• Four-year college Engineering degree, or other technical degree with relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests in accordance with standards and procedures, record results.
• Ensure that test equipment is calibrated or tested and operates properly.
• Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).
• Monitors multiple projects underway.
• Prepare test reports and related documents.
• Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.
• Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
• Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
• Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilization and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).
