Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in the Dallas/Fort Worth area is seeking a laboratory technician to perform routine analytical duties in a fast-paced environment. You will handle sample registration, data entry into the LIMS, and timely, accurate lab testing while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• AS or BS degree in Microbiology, Food Sciences, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Experience in plating, plate reading, and sample preparation.
• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements relevant to responsibilities (ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC, applicable regulations).
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Registration of incoming samples and maintaining records.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples promptly and accurately.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel for transmission.
• Identify process difficulties and report solutions to supervisor.
• Maintain readiness to respond to client and co-worker needs.
• Maintain cooperative relationships and clear communication.
• Promote company image through ethical business practices.
• Continually improve the quality of work and adopt new technologies.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
