Job summary

Eurofins USA Consumer Product Testing seeks a Laboratory Technician to support testing activities in Austin, TX. The role requires a four-year Engineering degree or related technical degree with relevant experience.

Responsibilities include conducting tests, recording results, calibrating equipment, and coordinating with Lab Managers and Project Coordinators. Ideal candidates will work well in a team, handle multiple projects, and maintain professional conduct.

Qualifications

  • Interface with and update the Lab Manager(s), Team Leader(s) and Project Coordinator(s).
  • Monitors multiple projects underway.
  • Prepare test reports and related documents.
  • Keeps current with industry technical developments and disseminates to the team, as necessary.
  • Support the laboratory managers and team leaders with assignments of new projects to technicians based on competency.
  • Support the Austin team with coordination of testing activities.
  • Support the laboratory managers with tracking of team utilisation and identify potential issues (technical, procedural, and commercial).

Laboratory Technician Responsibilities:
