Sirius Staffing is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Chester, PA to support sampling, testing, and monitoring of the continuous production process for precipitated silica. The role includes testing, evaluation, and release of finished product, with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with GMP and ISO standards.

The candidate will perform data entry, calibrate equipment, and collaborate with Production Operators to maintain product quality.

Formación

• Associate degree in a science-related field; Bachelor's in Chemistry preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Excel and MS Access.
• Ability to update and maintain analytical data files.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Knowledge of chemical production processes and testing methods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform all laboratory duties safely and support the plant safety program.
• Sample and test the continuous production process; make adjustments as needed to maintain product quality.
• Conduct additional testing during product changeovers to prevent cross - contamination.
• Perform finished - product testing and release results promptly to support shipping schedules.
• Maintain organized notebooks and electronic data files for accurate data retrieval.
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to ensure reliable results.
• Communicate regularly with Production Operators to support product quality and process needs.
• Conduct required environmental and utility testing to meet permit and compliance requirements.
• Assist with training new laboratory technicians.
• Perform statistical evaluations and apply process - control methods as applicable.
• Follow all ISO - 9000 procedures and documentation requirements.
• Adhere to GMP and Food Safety procedures.
