Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing Lab in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Laboratory Technician I who will support operations through general maintenance and sample processing. The role requires adherence to QA programs and SOPs, with responsibilities spanning sample retrieval, preparation, labeling, and documentation.

This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with pay range 18–21 USD per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience.
• Ability to perform basic chemistry tasks and maintain accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including aliquot, spike, and bottle handling.
• Prepare reagents and concentrations; set up liquid racks.
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling.
• Records analysis results, tracks samples, and maintains bench sheets/logbooks.
• Washes glassware and stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans work areas and assists other laboratory areas as needed.
