Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support daily operations in Lancaster, PA, with offsite training in Richmond, VA. The role emphasizes general lab methods, sample preparation, equipment maintenance, and accurate documentation.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, basic chemistry exposure, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic chemistry coursework or exposure.
• Willingness to train at Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation (aliquot, spike & trace, prepare reagents, bottle samples, prepares concentrations).
• Resolves discrepancies to ensure proper labeling.
• Prepares general lab paperwork (results, tracking, bench sheets, logbooks).
• Washes glassware for next day.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Cleans work areas to maintain safety.
• Assists other lab areas as needed.
