Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support routine sampling, preparation, and equipment maintenance under QA procedures. The role entails retrieving samples, preparing reagents, labeling, and maintaining records in a fast-paced lab.

This full-time position runs Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm with a pay range of $18–$21 per hour, commensurate with experience, and includes offsite training at the Richmond, VA lab if needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience (BMQ): High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience
• General knowledge of chemistry and/or general science
• Basic mathematical skills
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to muti-task
• Quick learner
• Work independently
• Work within time constraints

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including aliquot samples and preparing reagents.
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling.
• Prepares general lab paperwork: results, tracking, bench sheets, logs.
• Washes glassware and maintains clean work areas.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Assists other lab areas as needed.
