Job summary

Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories Environment testing lab in Lancaster, PA, is hiring a Laboratory Technician I to support routine lab operations and sample handling. The role includes preparing samples, recording results, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic chemistry coursework, with training offered at the Richmond, VA facility if needed. Typical hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm, with pay $18–$21 per hour.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experience
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced lab environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Willingness to train at the Richmond, VA facility if needed

Responsibilities

• Retrieves samples from Sample Control for analysis.
• Performs sample preparation including aliquoting, spike and trace preparation, reagent preparation, bottle labeling and concentration adjustments.
• Resolves discrepancies and anomalies to ensure proper labeling.
• Prepares general laboratory paperwork like analysis results, sample tracking, bench sheets and logbooks.
• Washes glassware and maintains clean laboratory work areas.
• Stocks laboratory supplies.
• Assists other laboratory areas as needed.
