ATCC, a leading nonprofit biological resources and standards organization, is seeking an administrative or operations professional to support our labs in an office setting at ATCC. The Labeling Lab Technician supports labeling operations onsite full time in Manassas, VA. This role is responsible for providing administrative lab support with a primary focus on ensuring accuracy in labeling content. Proficiency in the English language is required.

The Labeling Lab Technician supports laboratory operations by creating, printing, and applying labels to empty vials. Responsibilities include cross-training opportunities such as assembling kits for production orders and managing lab supplies.

Responsibilities

• Administrative Operations: Prepare and ensure accurate labeling content. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Maintain inventory to ensure supplies are well-stocked and properly labeled. Perform minor troubleshooting of labeling instruments.
• Documentation: Make detailed observations to ensure accuracy. Document results neatly and accurately in databases or paper records. Keep detailed logs of work performed to support decision-making.
• Manufacturing Lab Tech Support: Cross-training in kitting, media, and glassware operations to support manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Education and Experience: High School diploma and 2-5 years' experience or equivalent. Basic computer proficiency and Microsoft experience required. Prior administrative or coordinator experience is highly preferred. Lab experience is not required.
• Skills: High attention to detail, ability to follow procedures accurately, inventory and documentation skills, knowledge of labeling software and data entry, ability to work in a team, exercise judgment, handle multiple tasks, and accurately apply labels to vials.

Benefits

The expected salary for this position is $46,000 to $50,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications. Additional incentives may include merit increases and a bonus program.
