Position Purpose: This motivated, key contributor will work in an interdisciplinary environment to plan and perform experiments requiring knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics. The position requires the ability to set up and conduct experiments that may include, but are not limited to, assays and analyses, basic cell culture work and treatment response time courses, and recombinant DNA technology. This member of the lab will also be expected to assist with basic lab maintenance activities such as researching and restocking supplies, assisting with cell culture stock maintenance, maintaining orderly records of lab inventory, etc. Proficiency with computer software and computer use is necessary.
Required Qualifications - Education and Yrs Exp: Bachelors plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required Qualifications - Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Two – three years of relevant lab experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, cell biology or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with molecular biology and cell culture methods, procedures and techniques.
