Dartmouth College in Lebanon, NH is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to support interdisciplinary projects requiring molecular biology, biochemistry, and genetics expertise. The role involves planning and performing experiments, basic cell culture, assays, recombinant DNA techniques, and maintaining lab records.

This part-time, on-site position (20 hours/week) is grant-funded with continuation based on available funds and requires careful data recording, safety compliance, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Proficiency with knowledge of molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics.
• Ability to perform basic cell culture, assays, and recombinant DNA techniques.
• Strong record-keeping and lab safety practices.

Responsabilités

• Conduct specified laboratory experiments using established methods, including genome-wide expression analysis and cell biology techniques.
• Prepare equipment and instrumentation for experiments.
• Adhere to quality control policies to ensure data reliability.
• Observe and document experiments, troubleshoot as needed, and communicate findings to the PI.
• Maintain lab notebook and inventory records, assist with stock management and safety compliance.
