Job summary

CellCarta seeks a Laboratory Technician II to support tissue processing, staining, and sample handling at our Naperville site. You will work with a collaborative team to ensure accurate analyses and timely results.

The role requires a technical degree in laboratory science or related experience, plus at least 3 years of relevant work; on-site hours are Monday to Friday with opportunities for career development and benefits.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
Experience with tissue processing and immunohistochemical staining.
Strong attention to detail and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Perform tasks per supervisor orders, including tissue processing, sectioning, IHC staining, and in situ hybridization.
Ensure samples are correctly handled and stored in designated locations.
Operate equipment to obtain accurate analyses and maintain meticulous records.
Provide input on reagent stock status and equipment performance to supervisors.
Report results, errors, and observations as required.
Utilize LIMS, DMS, and QMS systems as appropriate.
Maintain a clean, organized working environment.
