Job summary

CellCarta seeks a Senior Technical Specialist to support assay operations, training, troubleshooting, and laboratory excellence in a fast-paced CLIA environment. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality and compliance while contributing to innovative research.

You will coordinate assay runs, validate histochemistry and in situ techniques, assist with equipment maintenance, and support audits and project execution.

Qualifications

• CLIA personnel requirements to perform moderate- or high-complexity testing.
• Experience with Ventana Benchmark, Leica Bond Rx, Dako Autostainer Link 48; Omnis a plus.
• Knowledge of GCP, GCLP, and GLP.
• Strong communication skills and English proficiency.
• Ability to interpret protocols and safety rules in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate assay runs and monitor project status.
• Support optimization and validation of histochemistry, immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, and related assays.
• Assist in technical training and maintain training documentation.
• Assist with troubleshooting and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Act as SME for client calls or audits as needed.
• Maintain tissue bank inventory and procurement.
• Prepare reagents and perform staining and in situ hybridization per SOPs.
