MarinHealth is seeking a Laboratory Assistant I–III to procure venous, arterial and capillary blood samples, process specimens, perform electrocardiograms, and support licensed staff in a fast-paced laboratory. This role covers inpatient and outpatient work with potential patient registration duties for outpatients or drop-offs.

Advancement to Lab Assistant II/III is based on on‑the‑job experience, with CPT I/II phlebotomy certification and BLS required within set timelines.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Lab experience in venous/arterial blood sampling is required.
• Phlebotomy certification CPT I or CPT II required at hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to read, speak, write English and follow instructions.
• Strong teamwork and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Procures venous, arterial and capillary blood samples.
• Processes specimens and operates lab equipment as appropriate.
• Performs electrocardiograms and assists licensed staff.
• Registers outpatients or drop-off specimens when needed.
• Maintains clean, safe work area and accurate records.
