Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months to one year of Lab Assistant I experience in MGH or equivalent.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire; CPT I/II preferred.
• Ability to work in teams and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Procures venous, arterial and capillary blood samples.
• Processes specimens and operates laboratory equipment.
• Performs electrocardiograms (EKGs).
• May assist with patient registration for outpatients or drop-off specimens.
