Qualifications

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the top priority by following all policies and procedures and consistently working safely.
  • Maintain a safe work environment that complies with applicable OSHA regulations and company Health, Safety, and Compliance protocols.
  • Prepare and analyze samples according to established procedures.
  • Identify and resolve minor issues related to sample analysis.
  • Calibrate, operate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
  • Recommend solutions when equipment or analytical issues arise.
  • Complete all documentation related to laboratory analyses accurately and promptly.
  • Ensure all work meets applicable quality assurance and quality control guidelines.
  • Manage laboratory supplies and maintain proper housekeeping and best management practices within the assigned work area.
  • Properly manage waste generated through analytical procedures.

Laboratory Technician

Clean Harbors in Newark, CA is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing and analyzing samples to determine their chemical and physical properties. This is a traditional, white-lab-coat position with no travel required.

Pay: $30.00-$31.00 per hour
