Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing in New Berlin, WI, is hiring a Laboratory Technician I for a Wed-Sat shift (12:00pm–10:30pm). The role supports sample registration, data entry in the eLIMS system, and performing tests with strict adherence to quality and safety standards.

Applicants should possess an HS Diploma and be eligible to work in the United States, with overtime availability. You will work under a supervisor to ensure timely results, maintain accuracy, and uphold the company’s quality system

Qualifications

• HS Diploma required.
• Plating.
• Plate reading.
• Sample preparation.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Reads, understands and follows management system requirements including ISO/IEC 17025/AOAC ALACC.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Registration of incoming samples and maintaining accurate records.
• Enter sample data into the eLIMS system accurately.
• Complete laboratory testing on incoming samples in a timely manner.
• Verify results and submit to appropriate personnel.
• Identify process difficulties and report with proposed solutions.
• Maintain readiness to assist clients and co-workers.
• Maintain cooperative relationships and effective communication.
• Promote the company image through ethical business practices.
• Continually strive to improve quality with new technologies.
• Identify non-conformances and out-of-specifications.
• Conduct activities safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
