Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for Tuesday–Saturday, 11:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m., to support sample preparation activities including aliquots, DNA/RNA purification, and quantifications in a regulated lab environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, SOP adherence, teamwork, and the ability to operate pipettes, automated liquid handlers, spectrophotometers and centrifuges. Base pay is $21.15 per hour, with final compensation influenced by experience and location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant science field.
• Experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform sample preparation including aliquots, DNA/RNA purification, and quantifications.
• Process and document laboratory steps per SOPs and manage equipment usage.
• Register samples and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
