Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician I for our South Plainfield, NJ location. This position requires adherence to safety protocols and SOPs while preparing and maintaining sequencing templates. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, with strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

The role includes sorting samples, labware washing, and assisting with automation platforms. Pay is between $16.50 and $20.50 per hour, depending on experience and education. Flexibility to work onsite Monday through Friday is required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of laboratory work experience (preferred).
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the work area.
