Job summary

Azenta Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Technician I to support sample preparation, DNA/RNA work, and PBMC processing in a regulated lab setting. The role requires adherence to SOPs, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers daytime duties with Tuesday through Saturday shifts (11am–7:30pm). Applicants should have relevant lab experience and strong attention to detail, with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or Associates degree with 1+ year relevant lab experience.
HSD with 4+ years relevant experience.
Experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
Must be able to work as a team as well as independently.
Demonstrate attention to detail.
Working knowledge of GxP requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform all functions methodically and in accordance with SOPs.
Independently operate laboratory equipment including pipettes, automated liquid handlers, spectrophotometers, and centrifuges.
Process and store biological samples per established protocols.
Properly and accurately document processes and alert management of processing deviations.
Register samples received for lab processing.
