Job summary

Azenta Inc. in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician III to join our team on a Monday–Friday, 9am–5:30pm schedule. You will perform sample preparation, DNA/RNA purification and quantifications, PBMC processing, whole blood fractionation, and related client-specific procedures.

You’ll document activities, maintain equipment, assist with calibration and training, and support process development and investigations while upholding GxP requirements in a regulated lab environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ year relevant experience.
• Associates degree with 3+ year relevant experience.
• HSD with 7+ years relevant experience.
• Regulated laboratory environment experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and GxP knowledge.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions methodically and in accordance with SOPs.
• Independently operate laboratory equipment like pipettes, automated liquid handlers, spectrophotometers and centrifuges.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Process and store biological samples per protocols.
• Document processes accurately and alert management of deviations.
• Manifesting and registering samples received for lab processing.
• Edit existing SOPs and assist with validation and training.
