Job summary

Boviteq in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Embryology to support IVF, embryo production, and related lab processes. You will perform routine and specialized lab procedures with accuracy, adhering to protocols and regulatory requirements.

The role reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and involves working in a team in a 5-day on-site schedule at our Syracuse location. Prior agriculture experience is a plus; strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the Embryo Production process.
• Maturation, fertilization, and culture of bovine oocytes.
• Freezing, grading, and packaging of embryos for shipment.
• Comply with production SOPs, schedules and USDA export regulations.
• Maintain and monitor materials, equipment and data entry.
• Record keeping and care maintenance of equipment.

About the Role

We are currently looking for a Laboratory Technician in Syracuse, New York to fill a vacancy and join our Team. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor, plays a key role in supporting Boviteq USA’s advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF, embryo production, and related laboratory processes. This position is responsible for performing routine and specialized laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail. The technician ensures all work is completed in alignment with established protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

This is an in-person role requiring 5 days per week in our Syracuse, New York location. This position offers a minimum starting wage of $22/hour, with potential compensation enhancements based on applicable experience and qualifications.
