Job summary

Eurofins Environmental Testing is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm, M–F) to support daily lab operations. The role includes cleaning, preparation/extraction, and stocking of supplies while adhering to SOPs and QA guidelines.

Training runs 7am–3:30pm, with potential to assist in other lab areas as needed. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong English skills, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs, written and verbal instructions.
• Performs routine laboratory cleaning.
• Performs disposal of chemical waste using approved methods.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Accurately enters data into LIMS.
• Washes and inventories glassware and equipment; prepares equipment for shipping if needed.
• Maintains training documentation current.
• Completes QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT) on schedule.
• Regular attendance and punctuality.
• Complies with health, safety and quality assurance standards.
• Assists in other areas of the laboratory when needed.
• May prepare reagents and spikes; may perform extractions.
