Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory Technician for the 2nd shift (3pm–11:30pm, Sun–Thu). The role supports daily laboratory functions, including cleaning, preparation, extraction, and stocking, following SOPs and QA programs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, English proficiency, and basic computer skills; previous lab experience and MS Office knowledge are a plus. Training runs 6–8 weeks M-F mornings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Follows SOPs, written and verbal instructions.
• Performs routine laboratory cleaning.
• Disposes chemical waste using approved methods.
• Keeps work area clean and organized.
• Entrs data into LIMS accurately.
• Washes and inventories glassware and equipment; may prep for shipping.
• Maintain training records (training IDs).
• Complete QC samples (MDL, LOD/LOQ, PT) on schedule.
• Assist in other areas of laboratory when needed.
• Prepare reagents and spikes as required.
• May perform extractions as needed.
