Our drivers transport raw milk from farm to processing plants. We are passionate about the farmer-owners, the dairy industry, and supplying consumers with safe and nutritious products.

SCHEDULE: 4 days a week; 10-hour days

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Work under the guidance of certified laboratory technicians and conduct analyses in accordance with approved methods and procedures to ensure analytical data meets the highest standards for accuracy and precision. This is a non-certified laboratory technician position. Advancement to the Sr. Laboratory Technician requires license and/or certification.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain analytical equipment according to manufacturers' recommendations, laboratory standard operating procedures (SOP's), and adequate inventory


• Perform all sample sorting and scanning functions, routing all samples to the appropriate location, and preparation


• Continuously maintain work areas in safe, clean, and sanitary condition


• Comply with laboratory hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal plan


• Provide necessary data for routine reports to customers and regulatory agencies as required. Other duties may be assigned as required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* 0 to 1 year of lab, administrative, or related experience

* Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

* Able to communicate effectively to ensure customer's needs and requirements are met

* Able to work as part of a team, follow directions, and meet deadlines

* Able to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

* Must be able to read, write and speak English
