Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking an energetic chemistry-focused professional to support formulation and fabrication lab activities. You will weigh and mix chemicals to prepare samples, perform filtration, purification, and data analysis while maintaining strict safety standards in a well-equipped lab.

The role requires a chemistry/engineering background, 0–3 years in a chemistry lab, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team. US citizen or green card holder is required.

Qualifications

• College, Associates or B.S. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 0-3 years’ experience in chemistry lab.
• Experience in fabrication laboratories is a plus.
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a team environment.
• Computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• US citizen or green card holder.

Responsibilities

• Prepare formulation samples by weighing and mixing solid and liquid chemicals.
• Perform filtration and circulation process for formulation samples.
• Perform purification of chemicals, such as precipitation and ion-exchange.
• Conduct fundamental physical and analytical characterization.
• Conduct photolithography experiments in the fabrication laboratory.
• Submit and manage photolithography and metrology job request.
• Record, organize and communicate experimental data.
• Perform basic data analysis.
• Maintain lab areas, storage areas and equipment.
• Ship chemicals.
• Maintain high safety performance.
