Job summary

RXinsider LTD. is seeking a Chemistry Lab Technician to assist the Chemistry team with daily laboratory activities.

You will help with calibration checks, record-keeping, and keeping the lab orderly and compliant with SOPs and quality standards. Responsibilities include supporting analysts at all stations, maintaining glassware, managing standards and reagents inventory, and disposing of waste and samples as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related science field.
• Analytical laboratory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality control systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verify calibration of balances, pH meter, and conductivity meter daily; keep logs.
• Maintain clean, safe, and orderly lab workspace.
• Comply with SOPs, ISO 17025, cGMPs, cGLPs, and QC guidelines.
• Familiarize with equipment, systems and SOPs.
• Assist analysts across all workstations.
• Maintain glassware cleanliness and proper storage.
• Inventory Standards, Reagents and Lab materials.
• Restock laboratory supplies as needed.
• Dispose of laboratory preparations and waste properly.
• Dispose of completed samples as needed.
• Assist with other duties and special projects.

Position Summary

The Chemistry Lab Technician will be responsible for assisting the Chemistry team (Analysts and Management) on daily tasks related to the Laboratory functioning activities.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform routine (daily) verification of the calibration of equipment/ instruments such as Analytical Balances, pH meter, Conductivity meter, and any other that requires it. Keep log records up to date.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and safe laboratory work area.
• Complies with company policies and all applicable SOPs; complies with ISO 17025, cGMPs, cGLPs A2LA requirements and Quality Control Guidelines.
• Maintain familiarity on use of all applicable equipment, systems, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Provide assistance to all of the analysts in all workstations.
• Maintain all glassware clean and in the proper location for its use.
• Keep inventory of Standards, Reagents and materials received in the Lab.
• Keep and restock the Laboratory supplies as needed.
• Make disposal of Laboratory preparations/waste as needed.
• Make disposal of completed samples as needed.
• Assist with any other duties, special projects, as assigned.

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or related science field.
• Analytical laboratory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of quality control systems is a plus.
• Entry level computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) is a plus.
